"I like my bank account balance" says comedian on inauguration performance

In an interview with THE NET, the lean comedian says at the day it is all about the money.

Comedian, Akpororo

Stand up comedian Akpororo who received negative feedback for his performance at the Inauguration dinner on May 29, 2015 in Abuja has responded.

In an interview with THE NET, the lean comedian says at the day it is all about the money. "I don’t want anybody to like what happened, but I like my bank account balance" he said.

Akpororo also explained that his performance at the inauguration dinner is different from his normal stand up routine. "There's a difference between that kind of service or show and a comedy show. To me, making Mr. President to laugh I am okay with that. People are just tweeting their own stuff" he said.

The stand up comedian also stated that people who say he is not funny don't know what comedy is about.
