Ace Comedian, committed to promoting Nigeria's image abroad

He said that "in the last one decade, we have been staging Crack Ya Ribs show in London to the delight of the people.’’

Ace Comedian, Julius Agwu

Ace comedian, Julius Agwu, has expressed commitment to the cause of laundering Nigeria’s image abroad through his annual comedy show.

He expressed the commitment in a statement he issued in Abuja on Friday.

Agwu, who is marking the 10th anniversary of the show entitled: "Crack Ya Rib’’, scheduled to hold in London, said entertainment remained the only way to promote the country’s image positively around the world.

The comedian added that the show would kick off with praise and worship to confirm God’s faithfulness and grace over the years.

He said that the concert would feature performances from top rated entertainers including Okey Bakassi, I Go Dye, Korede Bello, Kojo, AY, Seyi Brown and Oyinbo Princess.

Agwu explained that his choice of Korede Bello as focal musical act of the event was because God miraculously healed him of an ailment recently and that could only be interpreted in Bello’s latest hit "God Win.’’

The comedian recently had a successful brain surgery in the U.S.
