The brand ambassador for Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria (PAN), Kunle Afolayan, has revealed his thoughts on the recently launched 508.

"Peugeot 508 is a very fuel efficient car, in fact, it is the most fuel efficient car I have driven. I do a lot of travels out of town, I have discovered that the engine runs very smoothly, you can hardly hear the sound, the interior is very roomy and comfortable, I recommend the car to the average executive in the country", he said.

Afolayan also called the 508 a very affordable automobile, adding that the car is top of the line.

If you compare the features and comfort in the Peugeot 508, then you know that the car is reasonably priced. Already, a lot of my friends have indicated interest in the car, aside the 508, a lot of my other friends have shown interest in other Peugeot models.

Peugeot is the auto brand that is proudly Nigerian, and a household name too. I am very proud and happy to be associated with the brand, being a proud owner of Peugeot 508, which is the top of the range," he stated.

In 2015, the brand ambassador described the Peugeot 508 as "a machine".

He gave this favorable review at the launch of the 2016 model in Abuja.

“Sincerely this is as the Germans will call it, a machine. It is well balanced, the sun is scorching and still you could feel the cool breeze in the car. All the buttons and all the electronics make the car lovely that an average car lover should have, not only because of the look, but because of the safety capacity that it has.

I am a Nigerian advocate and most of what I have done are fully Nigerian, and for us we like to sell what is ours to the international world. We believe in premium, we believe in class and we still give it at affordable price," he said.

Afolayan was unveiled as the PAN ambassador in December, 2015.
