New gist is out about rapper's "Kill Jay-Z" Kanye diss

Lyrics deciphered by TMZ sources indicate that the funds were not given as mere gift to Kanye as suggested by Jay-Z on the track.

Kanye West and Jay Z have had it coming for some time now

Fresh reports have revealed a certain $20million which Jay Z suggests he gave to Kanye West as gift on his 4:44 'Kill Jay Z' Kanye diss was actually an advance payment for his "Life Of Pablo" album costs.

TMZ sources reporting to TMZ cited that the money was given to Kanye to cover costs of production of the rapper's "Life Of Pablo" album, tour expenses and staff payments.

In a separate report TMZ sources claimed that Jay's supposed West criticism on ‘Kill Jay Z’ was in response to comments West made during a Saint Pablo Tour stop last November. "JDays later, the remainder of the tour had been canceled and West was hospitalized.

It's been earlier reported that Kanye West has allegedly left Jay Z's Tidal music streaming service.

The 'Stronger' rapper is said to be severing all ties with the music service over claimed unpaid entitlements he expects to have got from Tidal, reportedly being in the sum of $3million, including bonuses for attracting paying subscribers to Tidal upon release of his "Life Of Pablo" album .

Tidal in turn released a statement claiming that Kanye hasn't delivered the videos he is expected to be out with based on contract signed.

This fall out has led to lawyers representing both sides sending letters, with threat to sue, according to a TMZ report.

Tidal has had its fair share of criticisms from fellow industry artists and fans for its exclusivity model, management reshuffles among other issues.

Jay-Z relaunched Tidal in 2015 with a roster of other A-list artists as an artist-backed alternative to Pandora or Spotify. Tidal claims to pay more royalties and was set up as a co-ownership with Jay-Z's artist friends like Madonna and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
