'I'm not an artist, everybody knows I'm shy on camera', Producer says [Video]

The celebrated producer talks about how tiring it is being an artist, his deal with Kanye West's GOOD music and more.

Don Jazzy talks about why he decided not to go with the G.O.O.D music deal offered to him. "I had Mohits at the time and I had bunch of artists in Nigeria that were still coming up,  I didn't feel like I fitted into the G.O.O.D music camp as at that time", Jazzy said in an interview with notjustOKTV.

He talked about making beats for G.O.O.D music but they failed to use any of it except for one track he was credited for on 'Watch the throne'  the collaborative album by Jay Z and Kanye released in 2011.

The producer was of the opinion that they weren't ready for Afrobeat sound at that time, referring to Jay Z, saying the rapper wasn't particularly feeling some of the beats he was presenting, but how the world is now gradually paying attention to our sounds.

The Don Dorobucci expressed how tiring it is to be an artist, having to perform, and shoot videos. "I'm not an artist, everybody knows I 'm shy on camera, videos are tiring, like when you record a song and then you have to go and shoot videos, when I have to go work on beats and business."

He talks about his love for Rihanna, marriage, Reekado Bank's album and giving his in-house producers Altims and Baby Fresh the opportunity to produce the album set to drop in September.
