Diamond Platnumz has called time on his collaborations with Nigerian musicians.

Diamond Platnumz has declared an end to his collaboration with Nigerian musicians.

The star broke even in West Africa after he scored a collaboration with Davido on the song ‘Number One’, in January 2014.

And since then, he has actively worked with an impressive number of Nigerian musicians including Waje, Psquare, Kcee, Iyanya, Harrysong, Flavour and many more.

According to a report by Bongo, the singer has called time on that, stating that he won’t be working with any act from Nigeria until further notice.

Diamond made this known in an interview with Cloud FM, revealing that his ‘last collabo would be Kcee’s and after that no more (working with) Nigerians. According to him: “This is to avoid any monotony in his music and that he has achieved the goal of penetrating his music into Nigeria.”

The ‘Number One’ hit maker also revealed other African music artistes as DRC’s Ferre Gola and Togo’s Toofan have made their intentions to collaborate with him known.

Diamond recently collaborated with Highlife king, Flavour on a single named ‘Nana’. Watch the video below.
