HKN boss to collaborate with U.S rapper Young Thug

HKN singer and Sony Music International act Davido is hatching a likely collaboration with U.S rapper Young Thug.

The singer is working on getting his sophomore album out to be titled ''Baddest'' which was initially scheduled for release last year  but was later postponed due to the last minute involvement with a big company.

That company turned out to be Sony Music, who announced a new deal  with the HKN boss. This deal will enable him reproduce the album and release it in partnership with the music giants.

The singer is working on a collaboration with U.S rapper Young Thug, announcing this via a video posted on Twitter. The viideo shows Davido and Young Thug on a phone conversation about the collaboration.

This collaboration is the third U.S  input on ''Baddest'' album after Davido earlier recorded with Trey Songz and Meek Mill. The single with Meek Mill 'Fans Mi' was released in 2015.

A new video published on Youtube captures the signing of Davido's new deal.  The singer is seen on the streets of New York, where he makes his way to a bank. He withdraws money, purchases jewelry, and heads off to Sony Music offices, where he signs the deal.

“A couple years ago I was a kid, in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria,” Davido says in the clip. “Now I’m at the top of the building…”
