Zambia's kwacha dropped more than 3 percent against dollar to a new record low on Wednesday as the copper price remains near a four-week low on worries about China's growth.

The currency recorded its largest daily fall since September 3 to reach a low of 10.43 per dollar after a survey revealed worsening factory activity in China, a major market for the Africa's second largest copper producer.
