In South Africa Central Bank's leading business indicator down 0.1 pct in December

The South African central bank's leading business cycle indicator fell 0.1 percent month-on-month in December, due to a decrease in the U.S. dollar-based export commodity price index and the number of new car sales, data showed on Tuesday.

The indicator collects data including vehicle sales, job advertisements, business confidence and money supply to gauge the outlook for Africa's most developed economy.
