You say you love my smile

My laughter invokes yours

What happens the day I cry?

You say I’m a mystic

My whole being baffles you

What happens the day you unravel me?

You say I’m pretty

What happens the day it fades?

You say you are drowned in the oceans of my eyes

They glow as stars in the darkest of nights

What happens the day they lose these qualities?

I hate you.
