The YikeBike is an electric bike that can go up to 14.3 mph with a range of up to 12.5 miles. A full recharge YikeBike will take 90 minutes to ride around and it has permanent LED lighting for safety.

The models

The YikeBike has two models - Model V and Model C.

The model V comes with an optional third wheel and weighs just under 30 lbs while the model C is the premium design. The Model C has a carbon fiber body, which makes it weigh less than the Model V at 25 lbs. The Model C only comes as a two-wheel option.

Sadly, the YikeBike cost a fortune and doesn’t come cheap. According to the market price, a YikeBikes start at N1,438,200 ($3,995) and can be more expensive if a premium model is been ordered for.

The cost of a YikeBike, a little over N1.4million, will readily buy a used car that might not need electricity for charging or get you wet during the raining season.
