1. Samsung is reportedly building an artificial intelligence-powered speaker to take on the Amazon Echo and Google Home. The speaker is codenamed "Vega" and will come with Samsung's AI assistant Bixby.
2. Dropped Apple supplier Imagination Technologies said there's been "no progress" in its dispute with Apple. The company said in its financial results that "Apple's unsubstantiated assertions and the resultant dispute have forced us to change our course."
3. Facebook is fighting the US government over a gag order that it says threatens freedom of speech.Facebook said it wants to tell three of its users about search warrants seeking their information.

4. The US government reportedly wants to intervene in Apple's legal fight in Europe over state aid. The administration hasn't said anything publicly about the case, though.
5. A Chinese court froze $182 million (£140 million) in assets linked to the chairman of cash-strapped LeEco. The frozen assets reportedly belong to LeEco chairman Jia Yueting, his wife, and several LeEco affiliates.
6. Image hosting site Photobucket has been accused of blackmail after forcing users to pay to hotlink to images. The change has meant that some listings on sites like Amazon and eBay no longer display properly.
7. Google DeepMind's NHS deals were scrutinised in a new report — but tough questions remain unanswered. DeepMind's own panel has said that there was a lack of clarity in the agreement it made with the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
8. OpenIV is back after players lobbied the game developer not to shut it down.

10. Ticketmaster is experimenting with a system that uses data-over-audio to admit people into shows. It's part of the company's campaign against ticket touts.
