How to make a GIF on Samsung Galaxy S10

1. Open the Camera app by tapping on it.

2. Tap the small icon resembling a gear, located in the upper-left corner of the screen. This will take you to the camera settings menu.

3. Scroll down on the camera settings menu until you come to an option called "Hold shutter button to," then tap on it.

4. Tap "Create GIF."

5. Exit the camera settings menu by tapping the arrow in the upper-left corner of the screen.

6. Choose the subject of your GIF capture and prepare your camera by making sure it is on the Photo setting, not the Video setting. If you need to switch to Photo settings, tap "Photo."

7. When you are ready to create the GIF, tap and hold the shutter button (the large white button located toward the bottom of the camera screen). Release the shutter button when you want the GIF to end.

From there, you can view the GIF alongside your other photos and videos in the Gallery app. You can also share it with friends the same way you would any other photo.
