A Nigerian developer has produced Africa’s first Bible-based game

The game provides a fun mix of a Christian game and adventure tap shooter where you are anointed to make your enemies flee.

The Anointed: Chronicles of Laftu is a newly launched app on Google Play store and iTunes. And it provides a fun mix of a Christian game and adventure tap shooting experience as players are anointed to make your enemies flee.

Users are also allow to deploy some unique powers contained in the Holy Bible to destroy evil characters such as poverty, disease, terror and more social evils. These characters are presented as enemies of the players in the game.

The high religious consciousness of Africans and uniqueness of the game have made it received many great reviews from users.

“God is good. I’ve been waiting for a good Christian game for a long time. Stage 7 is tough though”, says a user of Google Play store.

Yinka Iyinolakan, the founder of Yinola Ltd hinted that the game is aimed at creating a fun and informational game for the Christians.

“I wanted Christians from around the world to resonate with the plot; through positivity, consistency and most especially, the power of the words contained in the bible, every obstacle in life can be shattered,” Iyinolakan said.

About the game - The Anointed: Chronicles of Laftu

The new game features a unique gameplay with Laftu using ‘whack-a-foe’ to repel and defeat enemies. Iyinolakan explained that Laftu is the main character in the game.

“Laftu is the superhero in this game, and the bible is his weapon. The reason we are attracted to superheroes isn’t necessarily because of the colour of their skin or where they are from but because of their motivations and what they fight for. Laftu fights against poverty, disease, terror, and bullies etc.”

Also, the app sends wonderful gifts and daily manna to users after completing different stages of the game. This further enhance playing experience and make it more fun and informational.

Friends and family members can compete as they can compare their scores on the leaderboard. The game is available on Google Play store and iTunes for downloads.
