"The odds have often been stacked against us. But by not limiting ourselves to what we have been told to be true, we have been able to make the impossible possible," Branson writes in a blog published on August 28, 2017.

1.    Schedule time to dream

This is the first task and it is not easy as you may think. Richard Branson says “open your calendar and schedule a time to dream.”

Just as one plan for the meeting, Branson advised allotting a specific time to allow your mind wander on/about anything.

"Far too many people get weighed down in doing, and never take the time to think and feel,” Branson said.

By doing this, he stated that: "you'll be able to see the bigger picture much easier."

2.    Don't be self-conscious

Self-consciousness is one big threat to achieving or considering workability of your dream or idea. Thus, Branson advised that: "Don't be self-conscious about dreaming, or about people thinking you're too idealistic, and not serious enough."

"Don't allow your self-talk to be judgmental. Look at the world with wide-eyed enthusiasm, believe you are more powerful than the problems that confront you,” Branson said.

It is noted that the wildest ideas seem to gain more attraction from the people. So, never look at your or people’s current condition while building your dream.

3.    Be scared, but not scared off

One thing Brandson stressed more important than dreaming or having an idea is being scared off by your conceived vision.

"If your dreams don't scare you they are too small. But those who achieve great things are the ones willing to be scared but not scared off," he said.

Branson stated that best dreams are those that come with a high risk of failure, criticism and loss of hope.

"Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear," he advised.

4.    Be open to receiving help from others

"Great dream can drive wonderfully innovative collaboration. Very few people ever made a great idea come to life without a lot of help," he noted.

"If you share your dream with like-minded people who share your passion, you could take your dream places you never imagined going," he added.
