People in the NFL seem to believe a suspension for Ezekiel Elliott is coming, and the benchmark for domestic violence is six games.

The suspension comes after the NFL's year-long investigation into domestic violence allegations against Elliott.
Elliott is expected to appeal the suspension and has three business days to do so.
Elliott was accused of five acts of domestic violence over a six-day period in July 2016. Prosecutors declined to press charges.
Elliott has had other off-field incidents, too. Video appeared to show him pulling down the top of a woman at a St. Patrick's Day Parade in March. He also reportedly hit a man in a bar in July and sent him to the hospital, though he was never arrested or charged with any crimes.
Whenever the suspension is announced it, doesn't mean the end of the process. Elliott's appeal could take time and could lead to legal challenges, as seen when Tom Brady appealed his suspension for Deflategate.
According to Schefter, the NFL, after investigating Elliott, believes he violated the league conduct policy. The NFL also considered the video of Elliott pulling down a woman's top, though Schefter reports it did not factor into the punishment decision.
Elliott is third Cowboys player to start the season suspended, according to Schefter.
