This is how Nigeria’s first inland dry port looks like

It is a great developmental achievement towards facilitating intra-national trades in Nigeria.

All is set for the commissioning of Nigeria’s first Inland dry port by President Muhammadu Buhari today, January 4, 2017, in Kaduna.

The Kaduna Inland Dry Port in Kakuri was built the Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC), and it is one of seven proposed dry ports by the country.

According to plan, the port will allow importers and exporters in and around Northern Nigeria to engage in international movement of their merchandise. Through this facility, cargos are to be sent or received from the Apapa Port in Lagos through the railway or by road, and also export goods through the same channel.
