International community sends urgent message to Raila ahead of his national address

Raila is expected to address the nation on Tuesday

A statement issued by former South African President Thabo Mbeki, who was also leading the African Union’s observer mission, called on the former prime minister to use legal means in seeking redress.

“If anyone has any problems on the just concluded fresh presidential elections, let them go to court,” Mbeki stated.

The AU observer team further indicated that they were satisfied with the election process and promised to release their final report in due time.

Questioned on the sustained call for dialogue, Mbeki advised that the decision was up to Kenyans and their leaders to decide the nature of such talks.

Odinga has dismissed the process that resulted in President Uhuru Kenyatta being declared as president, and called it a sham.

The NASA leader is on Tuesday expected to give a new direction to his supporters on the way forward.
