Speculation has been mounting over a possible 2020 presidential bid by Oprah since her speech at the Golden Globes.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday responded to the buzz surrounding a possible 2020 presidential run by Oprah Winfrey, the popular media mogul who delivered an impassioned speech at the Golden Globes encouraging women to speak out against sexual harassment and abuse.

"Oprah will be lots of fun," Trump told reporters Tuesday. "I did one of her last shows. ... I like Oprah."

Although he also said that he doesn't think she is going to run, he said that if she did, he would beat her.

Rumors have been swirling in political and media circles about Oprah entering the presidential race since she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award and delivered a nearly nine-minute speech that received a standing ovation at the Golden Globes.

It was Hollywood's first awards show since some of the entertainment industry's biggest stars, including Harvey Weinstein and Dustin Hoffman, were accused of sexual misconduct. The wave of allegations prompted the so-called #MeToo movement, which encourages women to speak out about personal stories involving sexual harassment and abuse.

During her speech, Oprah addressed the issue head on.
