Here's what we know about the victims of the Spanish terror attacks

15 people have been killed and at least 126 were injured in two related attacks.

The first, and largest, was a van ramming attack on Las Ramblas in Barcelona, and the second was a similar attack in the nearby city of Cambrils.

The Catalonian emergency services tweeted a graphic with the nations affected by the attack, the deadliest on Spanish soil since train bombings killed 192 in Madrid in 2004.

Here is what we know about the victims, whose identities are still being confirmed:

Julian Cadman, seven, Britain and Australia.

Julian Cadman, a British-Australian dual national, was killed in Barcelona. His family confirmed his death on Sunday after reports of his disappearance emerged on Friday.

He and his mother Jumarie, also known as Jom, were in the city for a wedding. She is in hospital in serious but stable condition, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.

In a statement released to the media, his family described him as "so so energetic, funny and cheeky, always bringing a smile to our faces."

Ian Moore Wilson, Canada.

Ian Moore Wilson was the father of a Vancouver Police Department officer, according to a statement released through the unit.

His daughter Fiona Wilson said: "He was compassionate, generous, adventurous, and always game for a lively debate, a good book, exploring new places, and a proper-sized pint."

She said an unknown motorist rushed Wilson to hospital on his scooter after he was hit by the van.

The US State Department confirmed that at least one American was killed and another was injured in Barcelona and Cambrils, according to the AP.

It did not identify either of the casualties, but Jared Tucker's family later confirmed he was killed after being on holiday in Barcelona with his wife, Heidi.

Heidi told NBC News: "I got pushed inside the souvenir kiosk and stayed there hiding while everybody kept running by, screaming."

Bruno Gulotta, 35, Italy.

Gulotta, a 35-year-old father of two, was killed on Las Ramblas while protecting his children.

Gulotta, a markteting manager at a hardware store in a suburb of Milan, was on holiday with his son Alessandro, daughter Aria and partner Martina.

Tom's Hardware, the store where he worked, featured a black ribbon on the top of its homepage on Friday.

Luca Russo, 25, Italy.

Luca Russo, from the northern Italian city of Bassano del Grappa, was killed in Barcelona, the Corriere del Veneto reported.

The electrical engineer was with his girlfriend, Marta Scamazzo, at the time. She received minor fractures in the attack and was sent to hospital, but was not badly injured.

"Italy will remember Bruno Gulotta and Luca Russo and expresses its solidarity with their families," Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni wrote in a tweet. "Freedom will triumph over barbarism and terrorism."

Francisco López Rodríguez, 60, and his grand-nephew, Spain.

Francisco López Rodríguez was named as the first Spanish victim of the attack. According to El País, Rodríguez was originally from the southern Spanish town in Lanteira and moved to Rubí, a town near Barcelona, in the 1960s.

He was with his wife, her niece, and her niece's two children in Barcelona, the Guardian said. His wife was seriously injured, and one of the children was killed.

Publications including the Guardian and ABC News identified the child as three-year-old Javier Martinez.

The photos tweeted above are from Rodríguez's niece, Raquel Baron Lopez. She tweeted them while searching for her uncle.

Elke Vanbockrijck, 44, Belgium.

Belgian officials said a woman from the town of Tongeren was killed in the van rampage. Her name was Elke Vanbockrijck, the AP reports.

Belgian media said the 44-year-old woman was holidaying in Barcelona with her husband and sons, according to the AP.

Patrick Dewael, the mayor of Tongeren, confirmed on Twitter that someone from his town had died in the attack.

Ana Maria Suarez, 61, Spain.

The Spanish royal family confirmed Ana Maria Suarez's death. She was killed in Cambrils and was with her husband and sister, who were both injured in the attack, according to Radio Television Espanola.

Pepita Codina, 75, Spain.

Pepita Codina was killed in Barcelona, confirmed Xavier Vilamala, the mayor of her hometown of Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà, near Barcelona.

She was run over on Las Ramblas while walking with her daughter, who also suffered several injuries but not in serious condition, El País reported.

People in her hometown devoted a space in their town square for her and the other victims of Barcelona and Cambrils, with a sign reading: "In Sant Hipòlit we are not scared."

Carmen Lopardo, 80, Italy and Argentina.

Carmen Lopardo died while walking along Las Ramblas, El País reported.

The Italian-Argentine dual national was born in the southern Italian town of Sasso di Castalda and emigrated to Buenos Aires in 1950.

Silvina Alejandra Pereyra was killed in Barcelona. Originally from Bolivia, she grew up in Buenos Aires and had lived in Barcelona for more than ten years, El País said. she worked at Fruteria Vidal Pons, a greengrocer in Barcelona's Boqueria market off Las Ramblas.

Her family, who travelled from Bolivia to Barcelona after the attack, identified her at the morgue, Argentine daily newspaper La Nación said.

"She was an excellent person, smiled a lot, and worked very hard," Pereyra's former colleague at the Fruteria Vidal Pons told El País.

Pau Pérez, 34, Spain.

Pau Pérez was stabbed in a white van in Sant Just Desvern, a town near Barcelona, last Thursday.

Police believe that at least one person attacked Pérez and stole his car some 90 minutes after the Las Ramblas attack, Catalan public network CCMA reported. The car was found in Sant Just Desevern on Thursday night, according to the Guardian.

His death "could be linked directly" with the attack in Barcelona, Catalonian police confirmed in a Monday tweet, as authorities widened their search for the attack's principal perpetrator to other European countries.

A Portuguese grandmother and granddaughter, 74 and 20, were also killed in Barcelona.

A 74-year-old woman and her 20-year-old granddaughter were killed by the van attack on Las Ramblas, Portuguese daily Correio da Manhã‏ reported. Their names remain unknown.

The grandmother lived in Greater Lisbon while her granddaughter lived in London.
