Flood ravages Nigeria, Niger, Sudan, Sierra Leone but only Hurricane IRMA gets the world’s attention

In Africa, an estimated 1,240 people were killed by the intense rains and mudslides in Nigeria, Sudan, Niger, Sierra Leone, Uganda among others. But undermining the lives lost and suffering of people in the continent shows the need to address “African Identity.”
