Shailja Patel was not happy with Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's quip on post colonial theory

Patel, who wrote Migritude was upset by Adichie's response to the question

Her response was the hottest trend on social media but also topical was her response to a question on post colonial theory and its relevance .Her claim that post colonialism/ post colonial theory' was a field made up by professors who wanted to create jobs for themselves did not go down well with several academics including Kenyan author and academic Shailjia Patel.

Patel took to her Twitter handle to deliver a thread that should grab the attention of the novelist.
