Ghanaian businessman engages pastor Chris Oyakhilome's daughter

The newly engaged couple took to social media to announce their marriage.

News of the engagement first broke when Sharon’s mother, Anita Oyakhilome, who divorced the Nigerian pastor last year, took to Facebook to wish her daughter well in marriage.

She wrote in a Facebook post, “Congratulations to my daughter and son-in-law to be. What makes marriage beautiful is when two become one flesh, inseparable and always enjoying the pleasure of each others company.”

The newly engaged couple also took to social media to announce their marriage.

Sharon wrote in an instagram picture post, “YES!  I am engaged to my very best friend! The most amazing and my absolute favourite person –@iampf! I am so, so blessed. I would say yes over and over  I love you”

Phillip also shared the same photos and wrote:“God loved me enough to give me @carissasharon – She said yes!”Phillip was born in the Netherlands to Ghanaian parents and then raised in the UK
