Big Brother Naija ‘lovers’ get N2 million each after thrilling Imo state governor

Governor Okorocha rewarded the Miracle and Nina after Miracle was presented with his prize as the winner of 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

The pair of Miracle Igbokwe and Nina Chinonso have been rewarded with a sum of N2 million each for representing the good image of Imo state indigenes.

Governor Rochas Okorocha rewarded the TV ‘couple’ few days after Miracle Ikechukwu Igbokwe was presented with his prize as the winner of 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

While Nina was compensated for good behaviour and representation of the state at the reality TV show, Miracle was also promised a landed property in any of his chosen area in the state - this according to the governor will enable him to own a property in the state.

Interestingly, the TV couple is both indigenes of Imo State from Owerri North LGA.

You have made Imo proud - Okorocha

Governor Okorocha, who made the donations when Miracle and Nina visited him at the Government House Owerri on Thursday, May 3, 2018, said the two have made the State proud.

“We are gathered here to welcome our son who has made us proud. Miracle is our son who went to South Africa for the Big Brother Naija Show. He spoke well of his State and was a good ambassador of his State. For this, we thought, it is proper that we receive him”.

The governor further noted that “Usually, our State does not engage in receiving people for outings they have made unless we consider such an outing one that has positive bearing to the image of the State. One thing outstanding is that these two great participants, Miracle and Nina spoke highly well of Imo State. They stood tall and proud of their State, in South Africa. This is the reason for the honour and to say welcome back home”.

The governor used the opportunity to urge Miracle to use the fame to propagate the ideas he believes in while promising to collaborate with him in seeing to the establishment of a school of aviation in Imo State.

An excited Miracle wants to build a college for pilots

Miracle, who had shared his ambassadorial role and other gifts on his social media handles, thanked the governor Okorocha for finding himself and Nina worthy of the honour.

The third winner of the Big Brother Naija added that he as well as Nina are proud of the Governor and his invaluable achievements in the state especially in the area of education.

“I am excited about our governor because of his educational strides, especially his free education in Imo State. This is a great gift to humanity,” he said.

He said he would see to the collaboration of the State government towards the establishment of the Pilot College in the State, to further open the state to the world, adding that his vision is to expand the aircraft simulation centre to a world-class Aviation College.
