Asides the aesthetics look, these buildings offer good location and neighbourhood, closeness to the centre of commerce and business, availability of infrastructural facilities among other factors that have positive externalities on business operations.

While driving around Lagos, the commercial centre of Nigeria and West Africa, these building stand out amongst many skyscrapers in the city.

1. Heritage Place, Ikoyi

Heritage Place is a world-class office building in one of Lagos’ commercial and retail areas. The building was completed in 2014.

British Council and BBC Nigeria are some of the current occupants of the building.

The office rent in the complex goes for $850 m2 /annum.

2. Civic Towers, Victoria Island

Civic Towers is also a magnificent office complex Lagos. It was opened for public use in 2015 and currently house multinational companies such as Microsoft Nigeria, Deloitte Nigeria among others.

3. Octagon Building, Victoria Island

Octagon building is a cluster of office and business structures. It is located on the Island and house the head office of Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), Broll Nigeria e.t.c

4. Union Marble House, Ikoyi

The Union Marble House is house the head office of business operations of Africa’s richest man, Alko Dangote. The rental rate of space within the building cannot be ascertained but average rate in the area is $950 m/annum.

5. Wapic Building, Ikoyi

Wapic Building belongs to Wapic Insurance Group. The building was completed in 2015, and it is very close to the Union Marble House and head office of MTN Nigeria.
