Wale Tinubu's Oando Plc moves into $10million 'The Wings' as new headquarters

Oando plc will be occupying four major floors of a wing of the two towers edifice known as The Wings Office Complex.

One of Nigeria's indigenous energy company operating in the upstream, midstream and downstream, Oando plc is expected to move into a new luxurious headquarters, The Wings Office complex, valued at over $10million.

With Wale Tinubu as the Group Chief Executive Officer, Oando plc will be occupying the four major floors of a wing of the two towers edifice. The oil company will occupy the 9th floor, 10th floor, 11th and 12th floors.

The building has been confirmed as one of the few Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified buildings on Ozumba Mbadiwe street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Scheduled for commissioning on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, the move by Oando plc positions the oil company for a new adventure in the property sector.

This is coming as a good news for the oil company, listed on both the Nigerian and Johannesburg Stock Exchange, which announced unaudited results for the six months period ended 30 June, 2017.

The company, which announced a turnover increase by 26%, N267.1 billion compared to N212.3 billion (H1 2016); Gross Profit increased by 76%, N33.4 billion compared to N19  billion (H1 2016) and Profit-After-Tax increased by 117%, N4.6 billion compared to (N26.9 billion) (H1 2016)

All you need to know about the Wings Office Complex

The Wings Office Complex is an architectural masterpiece strategically built in the North-eastern corner of Victoria Island putting you literally minutes away from the Eko Bridge, Awolowo Road, Osborne Road and Third Mainland Bridge.

The certified Grade A office complex is also one of the very few prime offices with waterway access through its private jetty on the Five Cowrie Creek.
