Since its introduction in 2009, the Phenom 300 has become one of the hottest selling jets in the world. In fact, since 2013, Embraer says the Phenom has been the most delivered business jets in the world with more than 400 examples of the plane going to customers in roughly 40 countries.

Now, with the release of the 300E, E stands for Enhanced, Embraer has given the Phenom light jet an infusion of style and technology.

With new interior design and avionics, the Phenom 300E represents a significant upgrade over the current Phenom 300.

The Phenom is powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E turbofan engines, each producing 3,200 pounds of thrust.

With six occupants on board, the Phenom 300E has a range of more than 2,200 miles. That means it can reach almost any two points within the US.

At the same time, the 300E can cruise at 521 mph and fly as high as 45,000 feet, above almost all commercial airline traffic. All of these figures are identical to the current Phenom 300.

However, it is inside the cabin where you'll find the big changes.

Embraer interior design boss Jay Beever completely revamped the plane's cabin to give passengers more room and greater luxury. With the 300E, Beever worked to balance luxury, utility, and technology.

This includes wider aisles for passengers and new Embraer seats that brings in a touch of styling from luxury cars. After all, before working on jets, Beever spent his time at Ford's former Premier Automotive Group which included brands like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, and Volvo.

As for technology, it's one element that Beever believes does not age well in a jet. As a result, he works to "hide" the tech in his cabins.

Which is why the Phenom 300E's new tech panel and folding entertainment screens are integrated into the center roofline and hidden behind dark glass.

The cabin is also pressurized to mimic conditions at 6,600 feet of altitude, which results in a more comfortable environment.

At the back of the cabin are a divan and galley.

Behind that is a lavatory complete with toilet and...

...Sink.

Luggage is stored in a compartment in the tail of the aircraft.

Up front, the Phenom 300E is equipped with a Prodigy Touch Flight Deck running Garmin 3000 avionics.

The first Embraer Phenom 300Es are expected to be delivered to customers in early 2018.
