Euthymol Toothpaste

The oldie, 'Euthymol' makes a grand 'Style Pick', check on why...

Euthymol is probably the oldest toothpaste from England. The first time I came across it was during my NYSC days in Abuja, I had gone to a store (SAHAD stores- if it still exists, thats the name I think) to shop (for nothing in particular) and that 'rustic' look of the pack and later on the tube itself appealed to me (weird, yea I know)

One of the many things we should take note of in everyday health care/ beauty routine is our oral hygiene. It is important that when you open that mouth to say 'good morning' or chat with colleagues and friends, it doesn't give people a 'nightmare'. There is nothing as attractive as fresh breath so a great sense of oral hygiene is key. I took 'another look' at Euthymol this morning and it definitely deserves its place as a 'Style Pick'.

Characterised by bright pink colour and a medicinal taste, Euthymol is no regular toothpaste. What instantly gets your attention is the old fashioned way it is presented, it comes in a pack but without a fancy design, it merely has a pattern and the product name!

When used for the first time, the toothpaste tastes very spicy/ 'hot' especially where you have mouth sores, it could be almost unbearable the first time but as time goes on/with continuous use, it becomes better. The toothpaste has a strong antiseptic ingredient that thoroughly cleans the mouth- you can feel it afterwards- it is highly recommended for fresh breath, helps prevent mouth ulcers and generally gives a feeling of freshness and eventually confidence.

An antiseptic ingredient Thymol is present in Euthymol (since it is antiseptic, Euthymol can help with the prevention of mouth ulcers). Its also probably the oldest toothpaste brand on the market in England and its still here, it was discontinued at a point but thankfully it came back.

It contains various antiseptic ingredients and aromatic oils. There is however a case; you will either get addicted to this toothpaste or won't make it past the first tube but then its strong enough for a pea size to be just enough for everyday brushing.

It is presented in an aluminium tube of about 75ml and like the slogan on the tube states " No other toothpaste has the unique strong taste of l" which is apt, with a retail price set at just a little over 1k it is the best.

You have my words on this 'Style Pick' that is Euthymol, try it and share your experience(s).
