At the Dior cruise 2016 show in Cannes last week, makeup artist, and creative director of Dior Makeup, Peter Philips chose a nail polish he described as “sunny yellow”.
This shade of yellow is really pretty and quite neutral, meaning you can wear it in place of your everyday nude and not get side eyes at the office.
What’s also key here is that Philips used aGel Topcoat during the show, to give the nails a healthy golden shine, and the models had impeccably manicured cuticles; anything dull, matte, or peeling would have created quite a different impression.

According to color theorists and psychologists, yellow is seen as one of the happiest colors in the spectrum.
