Skincare entrepreneur and expert Leslie Okoye swears by steaming the face which she says helps open up the pores for products to penetrate the skin. She employs this for her night time routine before going ahead with her facial products.

Note that the skin should be clean before steaming so you don't end up clogging the pores with dirt and grimes! Steaming helps to open the pores.

How to:

Use a facial steamer or fill a container (heat resistant) with hot water and hover around the steam for a few minutes, rinse the face and apply moisturizer as needed.
