Former Nigerian President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has reportedly taken ill and is currently being treated at a hospital in Germany.

According to Sahara Reporters, Babangida was taken to Germany 10 days ago after his health deteriorated.

The exact ailment from which the former military ruler is suffering has not been disclosed but it is reportedly connected to a chronic back problem for which he earlier had surgery.
