Ride the Hogwarts Express this October

From October 21 to 22, 2016 a Pennsylvania town, Chestnut Hill, will be transformed to the magical Hogsmeade for an annual Harry Potter Festival.

Attendees get to board the 'Hogwarts Express' train to the village. Although they dont have to run through a wall to board the train, instead, they get on at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

The festival participants will be sorted out by the Sorting Hat and there will be Defense Against the Dark Arts classes.

They also get to support their houses at the Quidditch tournament, 'Brotherly Love Cup'. A Harry Potter conference will be hosted by Chestnut Hill College, an apt location since their campus looks like a modern-day Hogwarts.

Those attending the festival have to board the Hogwarts Express at the Chestnut Hill East or Chestnut Hill West.

Harry Potter, Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore look-alikes will be on board to greet and escort passengers to the festival.

The street fair and quidditch tournament are free free. The Harry Potter academic conference is open to the public, although it requires a 10 dollar registration fee.
