Meet artist whose latest exhibition cost him well over £50m
Damien Hist totally blows our minds with his new exhibitions.
The pieces are made up entirely of rusty knives and spoons, ancient tablets and crumbling, coral-covered statues that were “salvaged” from the wreckage of a historic ship.
Check out some of the pieces.
This picture of Medusa’s severed stone head has us wondering and even questioning the realness of the piece.
This unbelievable artwork of a giant foot which belongs to a statue in Apollo somewhere in with a mouse on it is totally incredible.
Many of the sculptures are made of bronze and marble, aluminium, polyester and fibreglass are all used to recreate damage from the sea.
“Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable” is rumored to be one of the most expensive shows ever put on by a contemporary artist.
His exhibitions run till December in Venice, Italy.
